Please join us for this jointly hosted webinar by ORCID and our member organization The University of Nottingham Ningbo China.

This webinar will provide an overview of ORCID and its benefits for doctoral students, researchers and research organizations. In this session, we will focus on:

  • – best practices of uses cases of ORCID for individuals and for organizations in different research workflows
  • – examples of communities of outreach to researchers and research organizations
  • – uses cases in UNNC

Part of this webinar will focus on some use cases in the Mandarin-speaking community. However, the presentation will be conducted in English. This event is open to researchers, libraries, research administration staff, research managers, and all those interested in learning more about ORCID and use cases of ORCID.

Chih-Chih Estelle Cheng is the Engagement Manager for Global Direct at ORCID. She supports and engages with ORCID Direct Members, Publishers and Services and Vendors. Based in Taiwan, Estelle works collaboratively with communities to promote adoption of ORCID, to establish communities of practice, and to drive more platforms or products supporting ORCID

Theresa Zhang

Senior Officer at Graduate School, University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC)

Theresa Zhang is the Senior Officer at Graduate School, where she has overall responsibility for postgraduate research (PGR) students’ lifecycle support team at University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC). Besides the delivery of the PGR professional services, PGR related procedures and policy improvement, she also oversees the management of relevant system projects. Theresa was consulted and involved in the design negotiation related to functions for PGRs on UNNC Research Information System (RIS). In this session, Theresa will talk about using RIS for PGR students at UNNC.
